Don't get me wrong, the Walk of Fame is still something that must be done if visiting LA, but don't expect it to be as magical as many people make it out to be. When we visited in late January 2020, the area was quite deserted; we were expecting crowds of people but there was probably more homeless people and locals than tourists. Unfortunately, this was therefore an issue with the area as one finds it hard to just enjoy looking at the stars as every minute someone comes up to you trying to sell you something or asking for money so it can be a bit daunting. There also wasn't much signage, maps would've been nice, otherwise you just walk along hoping to see people's stars that you wanted to see. As aforementioned, I would still suggest visiting if you haven't been, but don't expect great things.
