About Me - Michael
I'm 26 years old and live in Surrey, UK. I recently graduated with a 1st in BSc Geography and I am the author of this website, as well as creator of the movies in the gallery and the various additional documents on the site. I decided to produce the website during the Covid-19 lock-down, which began the day after our return, as something to do.

My independent travel began after high school (18 years old). Before this the majority of my trips were family/friend holidays, mostly all leisure. My first "independent" excursion was to Zante (Greece) with friends in July 2016. Shortly after, myself and my partner Rebecca took our first trip together to Amsterdam (still one of my favourites; highly recommend!).
​
All of my travel since Zante (2016) has been self-funded. My first few trips were payed for through birthday/Christmas/general savings, and thereafter I got a part-time job (12 hours a week) at a retail chain which entirely financed the majority of my trips. This includes our global adventure, hopefully proving that this experience is open to anyone!!!

About Me - Rebecca
I’m 26, born and raised in Surrey, England with a passion for travel. I have been fortunate to travel with family and friends for holidays and leisure, and also through different stages of my education. I have always loved studying Geography and from GCSE right through to my degree I traveled to Iceland, Morocco, Malaysia and China for field-trips and scholarships.

After graduating with a First Class Honours in BA Geography from University, I decided it was time to have a break from reality and travel the world. It was the best decision I have ever made.
​
Travelling may seem daunting and expensive, but it really is achievable for anyone. My 5 months of travelling around the world and smaller trips as an adult have all been self-funded by working whilst studying. Michael and I create our own itineraries and organise our trips independently, so if we can do it anyone can!
