We decided to go to Cafe Beignet after seeing reviews on TA. The cafe itself has a really nice interior with old framed photos and an old fashioned vibe. The cafe staff were also very efficient and polite.
You can get a portion of 3 Beignets for $4 which is reasonable as they are quite big and filling, and there are also a variety of coffees, drinks and bakery treats to choose from.
The only negative of this place is the limited capacity for the huge demand. The queues are regularly out of the door, which of course is a good sign with regards to the standard of food, but it does taint the experience when you are all bunched up waiting for your order and there are no seats available. If the cafe was bigger and had more tables it would be a far more enjoyable experience.
Overall, the beignets are fresh and delicious but I wouldn't guarantee that you'll get a seat to enjoy them.
