Not unlike other night bazaars in SE Asia; the Chiang Mai night bazaar has a decent selection of products at reasonable [after haggling] prices. It is located along an active road which is a bit different to the pedestrian street style markets, or for example the Wualai Road Saturday walking street, therefore the pavement can get a bit crowded. The whole market stretches for about 1km on either side of the road with adjacent indoor markets (mainly fixed price stalls) and food courts/centres as well. We got some cheap products and there wasn't a great deal of pushy sellers here, hence the four star allocation and my overall recommendation to visit.
