We had an amazing experience watching the fireworks (and drones) from the Helix Bridge on New Year's Eve 2019-2020! The structure itself is marvelous, and lit up with colourful lights at night. We arrived at around 10.15pm on NYE and despite the crowd being 1 row/person deep, there was still space to stand. Eventually they closed the bridge to any more people at around 11pm. The view of Marina Bay and the fireworks were incredible, we can't believe it was free. We visited the bridge again in the day time to observe the contrast between day and night and it was still well worth the quick stop.
