For 100K VND a ticket per person, the 45 minute show was a good experience, marred only by idiots who kept their blinding flash on their cameras/mobiles. The music and singing flows well with the water puppetry performance, and some of the effects they use like sparklers and smoke were cool. It is all in Vietnamese but as a tourist you get the jist of it. I recommend getting tickets by at least midday if you want good seats and a certain time, turning up just before might be a bit risky. Being on Hoan Kiem lake it is situated in an ideal location and should be visited as part of your trip... just don't be the annoying person with their flash on!
