Interesting & Detailed
4*

This is a really interesting place to visit as it highlights the brutality of war and has plenty of information and artifacts.

We didn't use the audio service and we still had a good experience and learnt a lot. The prison is also quite open in that you can walk into the cells and torture rooms etc. which makes the experience more moving.

It is also close to Hoan Kiem lake (around a 15 minute walk) and the tickets are very cheap. They also do discounts for students and elderly people. You could spend 1-3 hours here depending on your interest and attention to detail.

The only negative is that some of the displays did seem a bit biased; implying American POWs had a great time in Vietnam and went home with nice souvenirs... we weren't entirely sure on the authenticity of that.

Overall, it was really interesting and eye-opening, I would definitely recommend!
