A nice walk

The waterfront offers great views of Puget Sound along with attractions like the Great Wheel and, further north, the orca mural in the foreground. It was not busy when we visited in winter (late February) so it was quite relaxing and it was a welcome break from the busier, enclosed streets of Downtown.
Decent photo opportunity

Walking around the Gulch this was one of the stops on our itinerary having heard about it on other reviews etc. It is nothing more than a pair of wings painted on a wall but it does offer a cool photo opportunity and it must be popular as there was a line on the ground to mark out an area in which visitors could queue. Luckily for us, we visited on a weekday in mid-February so there was no one else about and we could take as many photos as we liked. It is certainly an interesting mural and worth a stop on any walking tour of Nashville.
Yes, it's disgusting, but it's unique!

I am surprised by the amount of 1 and 2 star reviews and the many titles "disgusting". Yes, of course a wall (well two walls) that people go and stick gum all over is gross, but despite absolutely despising people who do this in other pubic settings, as this is almost a self-designated area where it is okay, this unparalleled, and to be honest, actually quite aesthetically pleasing location with all the colors and patterns, is something I appreciated. If you don't like people sticking gum on a wall then don't go there, but if you welcome the uniqueness and vibrant colors then it is certainly a cool experience, and so long as you don't fall into the wall then you remain perfectly clean!
