Little to be said about the clock tower. It's very small and on the middle of a busy roundabout. It was lit up with Christmas lights and other features when we visited which made it look nice, other than that though it is no more than a quick stop as part of a longer day out.

Best beach ever

We decided to visit this beach during our Phi Phi island trip because it had good reviews for swimming and looked quieter than beaches near the centre. We had a great day!
The water is crystal clear with soft white sand and the sea temperature is perfect. I don't usually spend a lot of time in the sea when at the beach, but I spent all day in the water here!
There also aren't very strong waves and there are designated areas for swimming along the beach, so you don't have to worry about boats getting in the way.
There are a few little fish and people were snorkeling around some of the reefs further out from the beach. You can also see shark point from this beach which is pretty cool!
The walk to the beach from the Tonsai Pier area is quite steep in parts through forest areas, especially the walk from Viking beach to Long beach, so make sure you're prepared for that and maybe avoid taking large items with you. Alternatively you can take a long boat from the town centre area to the beach.
Also make sure you bring food, suncream, water etc. as I didn't see any shops to buy items at the beach.
Overall, this is probably my favourite beach I have ever visited and I thoroughly recommend it!

The Andaman Wave Master did what it says on the tin; got us from A to B and B to C at the scheduled time. Strangely, or perhaps not so strangely within Thailand, pricing varies highly for identical tickets. We booked our first leg [Krabi to Phi Phi] online for 450 baht per person. This seemed to be the going rate as it was advertised at the terminal as well (note the terminal [Klong Jilad] is a bit confusing and does not have wifi). Conversely, our second leg, Phi Phi to Phuket is advertised at 700 baht per person online, but the ticket seller offered 400 baht per person at Klong Jilad Pier, in addition to it being an open return ticket. We were skeptical, thinking it was some kind of scam however the ticket seemed perfectly fine as we had no issue with boarding or disembarking that journey. Furthermore, places on Ko Phi Phi were selling tickets at an even further reduced rate of 350 baht... As for the actual service, the seats were fairly comfortable and they were clean, and it was never busy on either of our crossings (we took the latest service in the day for both journeys). The journey is somewhat long but it wasn't choppy, rather it was relatively smooth. They do chuck around your luggage as noted in other reviews, so don't put anything valuable in there. And their disembarkation process is a shambles with no methodology at all, just a scramble for bags and the exit. In conclusion, we had a good experience with the company, however reading other reviews it seems to be luck of the draw and I can understand the 1 star reviews left about the service.
