In & out in 10 minutes
2*

I'm certain we must have visited during renovations as there appeared to be an upstairs section and I cannot imagine that all we saw was the entirety the museum had to offer! Additionally to this hunch, there were turnstiles but we were let in for free; we observed a single room with about 10 artifacts and then left. As it was free we obviously didn't mind but I would never recommend it. Perhaps when the upstairs is open (if it is usually open?) then there might be better/more things to do, however I do not know if it would still be free then. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend as of when we visited which was December 20th 2019.

Food court
3*

We visited this location several times as it was ideally situated for an easy meal. At the food court you can load up money onto a food court card (*note: you can only use cash for this) and then you can pick and choose dishes from a range of vendors; the same concept as Terminal 21 in Bangkok (see my other reviews). Compared to Bangkok, Limelight Avenue was slightly more expensive at roughly 50 baht per meal, and it had less choice (probably about 8-10 different vendors). The food was okay but nothing special, just convenient to fill us up quickly. The card with money only lasts 24 hours so either use it all or simply go to the kiosk and get any money left refunded. As for the rest of the mall we can't really comment as we didn't go shopping etc. but it looked somewhat large and it was spacious and clean.

Worth the hot walk
4*

As there is little to do in Phuket Old Town, the viewpoint was rather a highlight during our 3 day stay there. We decided to walk/hike up to it using some very helpful information I found on Geocaching (a global treasure hunting site). Unwittingly we went at mid afternoon and we suffered as a result because of how hot it was, but there was some shade on the way up. When we reached the locale there was an old fitness park, not really useable, and of course the viewpoint. There were good views of Phuket and you can even see the Big Buddha. There is a nice area to sit and there were a few small cafes and restaurants as well. We decided not to go to the Monkey Hill viewpoint because of the monkeys, however I did spot a large monkey at Rang Hill as well, though he was minding his own business and didn't bother us! In summary, it's a nice, free spot to observe Phuket and take some good photos.
