I first came to a PappaRich restaurant in KL a year ago, and I was desperate to return!

The food is fantastic with mainly Malaysian food options. The food is fresh, flavourful, and very reasonably priced! We had a curry chicken and noodle meal which was only £3. I absolutely adore their satay chicken sticks which come with chopped vegetables and large freshly prepared peanut dip. They have a range of drinks options too, from lychee and watermelon juice to iced coffees with different variations.

They have a number of stores around KL so you'll always find one in close distance. You can also pay with cash or card which is useful.

Overall, I love eating at PappaRich. The food is consistently good and very cheap. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Restaurant - Canopy Rooftop Bar and Lounge Review

Admittedly, only one of us (my girlfriend) has visited Canopy Bar before, on a previous trip to KL, but she loved it, hence her suggestion to revisit in December 2019. From what she told me I had high hopes for Canopy Bar and they were certainly met! We arrived early at around 6pm as another attraction we intended to visit was closed, therefore it was fairly empty but the vibe was still good. We knew how to get there, however for newcomers it can be slightly difficult as it is located in what appears to be an old, unused back street, but there is a small valet area with a lift directly up to the 3rd floor hidden away. I think the Bars great TA reviews and reputation owes mainly to their customer service, the staff are so friendly and welcoming; we especially want to mention Imtiaz and Mainuddin who were not only staff to us but long-term friends by the end of our visit. Despite the ‘rooftop’ bar only being located around 3 floors high, it is nestled in an ideal spot to still provide good views of KL, and the Petronas Towers if you get the right angle. Happy Hour was on until 9pm and the drinks were reasonably priced for a city centre rooftop bar. They also provided snacks but we did not try any of these. We did however have shisha which lasted all night and the staff, again, were extremely attentive in making sure your coals were still burning and the shisha was good. To top it off, they showed live football on all of the big screens which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would certainly recommend visiting, and don’t be afraid to engage in conversation with the staff as they are so nice!

Attraction - Perdana Botanical Gardens Review

We visited the botanical gardens on the way to the other attractions close by such as the butterfly park and planetarium. It is very big with lots of different plant sections, and there is a large playground which is great if you have kids.

It is free to enter, and the gardens are very well maintained with beautiful plants and outdoor features such as small waterfalls and lakes. There are also benches and grass to sit on which is great for picnics.

We went to the deer park but there weren't any deer there which was disappointing, but all of the other sections were lovely.

Overall, if you want to visit somewhere green in KL, or would like a stroll with lovely plants then I would recommend visiting!
