We visited on a Saturday evening, quite early on. The place wasn't busy at all which they must've anticipated given there was only one waiter. We went for my girlfriends birthday and got a 'breakfast' dish each, with unlimited pancakes and bottomless drinks. For all of this the price was very reasonable and the nights total was only somewhere around $30-$40 for us both. Service was good and the food was fine. The place seems quite clean and we had a nice meal. Nothing would dissuade me from visiting this restaurant again.

Attraction - Spanish Village Art Center [San Diego] Review

I didn't know about this place until we found it while walking from a bus stop near the zoo to the Botanical House area. The village itself had a very relaxed atmosphere and I loved the Spanish architecture. The art on display was great to look at and there is plenty available for purchase. The location made for a nice surprise on our day trip and I would recommend others visit!

Attraction - Little Italy [San Diego] Review

More Italian than expected

To be honest, I did not actually think this place would be like a 'little Italy' given some Chinatown around the world do not fully feel authentic Chinese! However, the area, from the architecture to the businesses, to the people, all felt very Italian. There were pizzerias, gelato shops etc. We didn't eat anywhere but I cannot imagine you would have a hard time in finding some good quality pizza or pasta! The Trolley (public transport) also runs very nearby the area so it is highly accessible.
