Fantastic place & price!
4*

This motel was amazing. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't spectacular looks-wise or quality-wise in comparison to other motels we stayed at, but taking into account the price, the customer service, and the quality of the rooms, it was brilliant.

We ended up booking this motel after looking at places in Flagstaff and then accidentally coming across this place called Williams that was more convenient for our trip. We only stayed one night but it was excellent. Check-in was simple, they did require a security deposit however I cannot recall the exact amount, and our room was clean when we entered. As we had a car we needed parking and there was no lack of spaces, and additionally, despite there having been heavy snowfall, the car park was well maintained and clear of ice and snow. Again, the room was cosy and the heating was exceptional, the heater could turn the room into a sauna in a few minutes! All the necessary amenities were there and the wifi was decent for somewhere that seemed so remote, and even the TV channels were broad in selection. The bed was comfortable enough and the area is very quiet so we had no issues in getting rest.

Furthermore, even though the price was so cheap, it still included a continental breakfast!! Yes, the breakfast was general toast and cereals, but you can't complain given the price, and it still fills you up. We checked out with no issues and went on our way. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody if they were around the area; although we had no interaction with staff a part from the check-in lady, we greatly appreciate their service and effort and it made our trip to the Grand Canyon all the more special!

A 'must-see'
5*

Such a great experience! We drove from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon with a rental car and stopped off at a small town called Williams on the way where we spent the night. In the morning we drove up to the South Rim, as the North Rim is not accessible in the winter, where there was a $35 vehicle fee to enter the park (paid by debit card) and then we parked up right outside the visitor center. The center is very informative albeit small, but what most people go for is the views and these were absolutely amazing, literally you have to 'see it to believe it'. We walked from the viewing point by the visitor center to Mather Point. And later on caught the free buses that run to the Bright Angel Trail and also the Yavapai Geology Museum which is also small but has great views. We spent 3 hours there however we wish we could've spent more but we had to get back to Las Vegas. There are plenty of amenities around and the park is exceptionally well maintained. Please do not miss this experience if you're visiting the area!!

600 miles, 24 hours
3*

Firstly the positives; the pick-up process was simple once we had reserved a car online and finding the location from the airport terminal was not difficult with the free shuttle bus service. There was a selection of cars and they all appeared to be in good condition and clean. We selected a 'full-to-full' gas option and the tank was full on pick-up which I have not always experienced with other companies. Furthermore, the car had unlimited mileage which was highly useful to us for our trip to the Grand Canyon and back! The negatives; as is true at any rental they harass you for upgrades and add-ons etc. Just deny them unless you actually DO NEED whatever they are offering. They also have the 'under 25 extra per day' fee which was $20 a day which is annoying, but then again that seems to be standard at most rental companies. Finally, their 'Insider' program where you supposedly get discounts actually cost a lot more for the EXACT same product. I signed up with Insider and got a quote, I then made a reservation without my Insider account which totaled $30 less. I think Insider accounts are only useful for locals, whereas for foreigners, how the add-ons and taxes work makes the quote more expensive even when the per day rate is less.
