Historic location
4*

This landmark is historically very significant, as such I had to visit. The area wasn't too busy when we visited in early February and we got good pictures of all the sights relatively un-obscured. I wasn't aware that Elm Street had the markings of where JFK was shot but there is. We didn't enter the Dealey Plaza or any of the other attractions in the vicinity, but just looking around was good enough for us. As Dallas does not have an extensive amount of attractions I would definitely recommend visiting this spot if you are in the area.

Deep Ellum
3*

This review is perhaps altered by the fact we visited on a very rainy, cold, and overall miserable winters day, but I didn't think the area was anything to rave about. It is still a nice place to visit, although if you are walking there then it can get a bit sketchy as there are some rough areas between downtown and Deep Ellum. The art was cool and there were some 'hipster' shops that are worth a visit. I can imagine it would probably be a lot busier on a sunny and warm day, and we didn't try any of the restaurants which I hear are highly recommended. If I was visiting Dallas again then I probably wouldn't bother re-visiting, but for a first time it is worth it.

Worth a visit
4*

We only visited to fill some time in between exploring downtown Dallas and a Dallas Stars NHL game in the evening, but it certainly deserved more time than we gave it. The museum is free to enter, though some of the exhibits cost money. There was plenty of cool and cultural art to observe for free however, and we could've easily spent half a day there. The museum is also very spacious and well maintained. All the staff were very friendly and I would suggest visiting especially if you are interested in art.
